Getting started
Open the app and choose a learning module from the main screen: Colors, Shapes, or Numbers. More modules may be added over time.
Each module follows the same simple rhythm:
- Learn — a guided introduction where your child goes through items one at a time and hears each name spoken aloud. A gentle hint is always available.
- Free Explore — an open, judgment-free space where your child can tap items and hear their names at their own pace, with no scoring.
- Test / Play — a light quiz asks your child to find a specific color, shape, or number among a few choices. Correct answers are celebrated; an incorrect choice simply invites another try.
There is no failure state intended to punish mistakes. The experience is built around repetition and encouragement.
Difficulty levels
Each module offers a couple of difficulty levels with fewer or more items to choose between. This lets the same learning activity remain useful as your child becomes more confident.
Celebrating progress
Completing a Test / Play round ends with a small celebration: a trophy, cheerful music, a one-to-three-star result, and a playful animated reward such as balloons.
The result is intended to feel warm and encouraging rather than competitive or stressful.
Settings and parent check
A simple math-based parent check protects the Settings area so a young child cannot easily change parent-facing options by accident.
From Settings, parents can:
- change the app language;
- enable or disable sound, music, and voice hints;
- open Statistics;
- open Support the Developer.
Statistics
Statistics are stored privately on the device. They can include completed tests, average stars, and total practice by module.
The app does not send this learning-progress information to BASE HANGAR WORKS or to another online service.
Languages
Hangar Learning currently supports:
- English
- Ukrainian
- Russian
- Latvian
- Estonian
- Polish
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- Lithuanian
More languages may be added over time.
Safety and privacy approach
- No advertisements.
- No child-facing purchase prompts or pressure.
- No locked learning content.
- No account is required for normal use.
- Learning statistics and app settings stay on the device.
- Parent-facing settings and support/purchase screens are protected by the parent check.
For the complete legal wording, read the Hangar Learning Privacy Policy. The privacy policy remains the canonical legal source.
Support the Developer
All current learning content is free. Supporting the developer is entirely optional and is separate from gameplay and learning access.
A parent may make a one-time Support the Developer contribution through Google Play. It does not unlock, gate, or improve access to learning modules.
As a small thank-you, supporters may receive visual/cosmetic extras in the app. These extras do not affect learning content, progress, difficulty, statistics, or any child-facing educational feature.
